Mrs. Elizabeth Kolkay To All Instructors

Faith in our Lord is of highest priority in my life. The day I was baptized was exhilarating!  I publicly declared that I’ve surrendered my life to Christ and accepted Him as my Lord and savior. Through God’s grace my life has been transformed.  Jesus is the center of my life and it has truly been a blessing watching our two children grow in their faith.  

I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Education. I taught severe and profound special education in the public school for almost 12 years.  My husband and I met while teaching at the same school. He currently is a high school Fine Art teacher. 

After our daughter Wini was born in January 2015 the thought of leaving her side for work was excruciating so I resigned from teaching and opened an in home daycare.  A couple years later Brock was born in October 2017. During the 2020/2021 school year my daycare turned into a kindergarten homeschool pod.  Most of the children from there moved on to public school but our family knew homeschooling was right for us. Homeschooling has proven to be such a blessing for our family and I thank God for putting us on this path!

 I very much looking forward to reentering the classroom with God as the central focus as we study our History through the arts.
