Music has been an important part of my life as long as I can remember! I am grateful that I grew up in a home where my parents loved the Lord and also exposed me to a wide range of musical styles. I had the privilege of learning from many different teachers who helped me enjoy music even more while refining my musical skills, and as I approached adulthood I felt a clear calling to do the same for others.

 

I taught general and instrumental music in the public schools until my first daughter was born, at which time I continued teaching private piano and clarinet/woodwind lessons. Additionally, I have consistently directed our church's children's choir, and in different seasons I have conducted the orchestra and adult choir at church as well. I play and sing on the worship team and have led worship the past couple of years.

 

My husband, Ben, and I met in our high school band and married after we both completed college (I have a Bachelor's of Music--Music Education from Northern Illinois University). We have four daughters and a funny cat named PJ. :)
