Mrs. Christy Dille To All Instructors
Let me share a little of the most important things to know about me. I have been a Christ-follower for most of my life, having grown up in a Christian home with a mother who spent countless hours with me enjoying nature, art, conversation, and lots of books. I also attended a classical school for 6 years, which further fostered my love of learning. This is where I learned Latin and writing as an expression of critical thinking. I have always been amazed at the order and design of God’s creation, enjoying math and science, which led me to study engineering. Although I graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a degree in civil engineering, I have found my true calling teaching my children at home. I met my husband at U of I, and we have now been married over 28 years and have 4 children. My oldest two boys are now married; one is a lawyer and the other a high school physics teacher. I have another son studying Pre-Med at North Central College and a daughter, who is still homeschooling. Heritage has blessed our family with great teachers and friends since 2010
As a teacher, I hope to encourage a love of learning and a desire to know and understand God better in the students I teach. It has been a joy to get to know the students at Heritage and to help them to succeed. I try to be available to answer questions during the week and I love to hear from students!
