Mrs. Rebecca Weiss To All Instructors

I am in our 15th year of homeschooling and have 22-year-old twins (Kaitlyn & Kenton), an 18-year-old (Ethan), and a 10-year-old (Emma). My oldest daughter is married (Jared) so I also have the distinction of being a mother-in-law and Grandma to one granddaughter (Jordan)!

I am a born and raised farm girl from Central Illinois (a very different geographical area from Southern Illinois!) and I earned my nursing degree from Parkland Community College and got married the same year. My husband, children, and I have lived in Kansas, Singapore, Illinois, Philippines, and NJ. I worked for a few years as a nurse before we had our kids and I have been a stay-at-home momma ever since.

We have been a Heritage family since August 2011 minus a few years when we were in the Philippines. My oldest two graduated from Heritage and my third is getting ready walk in the Heritage graduation ceremony this May.

I have been an avid Christ-follower since I was 15-years-old, baptized at 16, and am very active in our local church, Bible study, and striving to live each day for God's glory!

Hobbies: Knitting, crocheting, embroidery, gardening, chicken farmer, reading, nature hikes, camping, and birding
